Create your own from the seat of your motorcycle photo essay as you ride and photograph with Carlan on a custom MotoPhoto workshop.  There’s no burning the highway.  The pace is slow and easy, ready to pull over and photograph the stunning landscape as you head down some of the Southwest’s finest open roads.  Along the way you’ll stop at small, scenic towns and meet their warm, independent people.   You’ll dine at family-run cafes and stay at unique, colorful motels, experiencing Americana at its best.

MotoPhoto workshops include a detailed “what to pack” list, trip planner, maps, day-to-day itinerary and reserved accommodations.  MotoPhoto workshops are custom designed to accommodate personal riding and photography experiences.  Along the ride you’ll discover photography tips and techniques on how to make more compelling images for a more powerful photo essay.  Each day will end with an image review and project critique.

MotoPhoto workshops begin in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area.  For alternate starting points please call.  Tours may be for a single day or extend to 7 days.  A 10% discount applies to workshops 3 days or longer.

Tour fees:  $650 per day plus tax.  Participant's motorcycle, fuel, accommodations and meals are not included.  Unable to bring your motorcycle?  Harley-Davidson motorcycles are available for rent in the Albuquerque area.  Riders must be 25 years or older with a valid motorcycle endorsement.  Please contact us for suggestions on rentals.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
